ESAH Forum: 1940s Dance

My name is Dominic Forbes. I am the vice chairman of Radio Forest, the charity community radio station for St Margaret's Hospital in Epping, The Derwent Centre in Harlow and Brentwood and Saffron Walden community hospitals. We are a registered charity with the aim of providing entertainment to these establishments.

We raise all the funds ourselves in order to keep these vital services running. The next fund raising evening we are organising will be a 1940's dance.
The 1940's Dance is part of our celebrations for Forest Gold's 10th Birthday.
It will take place on Saturday 9th February at 19.40, Epping Catholic Church Hall, Church Hill, Epping CM16 4RA

Dancing to the music of the 1940's and singer Annie Andrews.
Plus a "Ration Book Buffet" and licensed bar.

Tickets £10 available now by emailing studio@radioforest.co.uk or just call 01992 577646
If any of your members want to attend, it will be a pleasure to welcome you. Already there are members of World War Two re-enactment groups attending in full uniform.I think you'll get a real sense of the history and a genuine feeling of the respect these people feel for the war veterans.
Many thanks for your time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely

Dominic Forbes - Radio Forest Vice - Chairman
