Essex History Events
On Saturday 1 December 2012 at 7.00pm, the Friends of Historic Essex are holding a Christmas Concert at Ingatestone Hall. The music will be performed by Song Cycle. For more information go to the Essex Record Office blog. (We have yet to sing the praises of the Essex Record Office and the Friends of Historic Essex, but will do soon.)
Thursday 6 December 2012. Dr Neil Younger will be giving The 2012 Dudley White Local History Lecture at the University of Essex. 7.00pm. Lecture Theatre 2. Members of the public are very welcome.
The Essex Record Office is closed for its annual stock-taking exercise from Monday 26 November to Saturday 8 December. The searchroom will be open to the public again from Monday 10 December 2012.
