The story of the cenotaph in London and the placing of the 'unknown soldier' in Westminster Abbey is told by Martin Lockwood at Stapleford Tawney Church [RM4 1DQ] this coming Remembrance Sunday, 10 November 2013 starting at 4.30pm. There will also be readings by Jo Shepherd, Maggie Dennis and John Steer to mark this occasion. Tea is provided during the interval. Tickets which are £7.50 in aid of church repairs are available from Anne Padfield.
