‘Essex Churches: Then and Now’ will be a
one-hour PowerPoint presentation featuring a selection of Victorian photographs
from the two volume collection of churches (S/LIB/9/48-49) plus modern pictures
taken on church bagging expeditions by Andrew and Elaine Smith during 2016. The inaugural presentation will be given on
behalf of the Society on Thursday 27 April 2017, 8pm, at the High Country
History Group, who meet at Toot Hill Village Hall, Toot Hill, Stanford Rivers,
