Details of the Essex Society for Archaeology and History's visit to the historic town of Colchester have been confirmed.
Refreshments
and a book sale will be held in the hall of the Castle Methodist Church from 12
noon. The hall is booked until 4 pm.
The address of the church is Maidenburgh Street (off the High Street next to the castle).
For Members who have signed up for the visit, the castle tour starts at 2 pm and lasts one hour. Members should be at the
castle entrance by 1.45 pm.
There is no parking at the church. There is a car park in Roman Road, just past the Castle and Hollytrees museum.
Parking costs £5 for all day.
Hollytrees Museum is a good place to go if your early, or to finish the day.
