Essex Industrial Archaeology Group: An Invitation to Join

The Way Forward for Industrial Archaeology in Essex

The Essex Industrial Archaeology Group (EIAG) has been launched with its inaugural meeting to be held on Saturday 23 November.  It is part of, and supported by, the Essex Society for Archaeology and History and will provide a coordinated way forward for industrial archaeology in Essex for both the professional and enthusiast.

New members are welcome.  Those who are currently enrolled on the ESAH list may join automatically at no extra fee.

Like its parent the EIAG will engage in research, recording and publication in its chosen field and organize talks and visits.  It will speak up for industrial archaeology and work in partnership with Essex Councils, amenity groups and others with an interest in Essex's industrial past.
