Historical Association meeting: Saturday 6 February 2016

The 2nd meeting in 2016 of the Essex Branch of Historical Association is a talk by Prof. Roger Richardson of the Univ. of Winchester on  Servant Life in Elite Households in the Seventeenth and early Eighteenth Centuries. It is on Saturday 6th February at 2.30pm at Trinity Methodist Church , Rainsford Road , Chelmsford , CM1 2XB. 

Roger Richardson became Professor of History at the University of Winchester   in 1993. He is currently their Director of International Relations, (USA). Professor Richardson is also a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and has been a Visiting Professor at universities in the USA. He has guest-lectured widely, served on the Council of the Economic History Society, was a member of National Academic Awards boards, has been external examiner at a number of institutions, and has supervised many research students.
